A community in Brazil is mourning the heartbreaking loss of a 21-year-old woman who died during a bungee jump after what authorities describe as a catastrophic safety failure. The victim, identified as Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, lost her life on Saturday while participating in a bungee-jumping activity at the so-called “Skeleton Bridge” in Limeira, São Paulo state.
