Tragedy struck during what should have been the happiest time for iconic model Georgina Cooper and her husband Nigel.

Friends Jade Parfitt and Erin O’Connor confirmed the passing of Georgina Cooper, a mother of one, on social media on

Thursday, November 8. According to reports from the Daily Mail, Cooper died from complications linked to long COVID.

Georgina Cooper was on the Greek island of Kos with her new husband, just months after their wedding,

when their honeymoon turned into a nightmare.

She became seriously ill and was rushed to the island’s hospital.
