I bought regular milk at the supermarket, but found a foreign object inside the bottle: I was horrified when I realized what it was đ±
This morning, as usual, I went to the nearby supermarket to buy some groceries for breakfast. Among other things, I grabbed a bottle of milk â just the usual kind, the same brand I always buy. I wonât mention the store or the brand name, because even thinking about it now makes me feel uneasy.
In the mornings, my kids love drinking a cup of warm milk before school â itâs become a little family ritual for us. That day, everything seemed normal: I put the kettle on, took out the mugs, and opened the new bottle.
And then I froze. Something glimmered inside the milk. At first, I thought it was just a reflection of light or an air bubble, but when I pulled the object out of the bottle, I was in shock as I realized what it was đ±đ±

Looking closer, I saw something long and metallic inside the bottle.
I carefully tilted the bottle and saw a sharp tip sticking out of the white liquid. My heart sank. There was a needle inside the milk. A simple sewing needle â but a rather large one.
I couldnât recover for a while. My thoughts were racing: what if I hadnât noticed it? What if the kids had poured themselves some milk and accidentally swallowed the needle? Just the thought made me feel sick.
I took the object out, rinsed it, and stared at it for a long time in disbelief. It couldnât have been an accident â the packaging was sealed, the cap intact.
How it ended up there â thatâs a mystery. A manufacturing error? Someoneâs malicious act? I donât know. But one thingâs for sure: after this incident, Iâll be ten times more careful, even with the most ordinary things.
Because sometimes danger hides exactly where you least expect it.
