At that moment, a young woman in a red shirt and dark pants walked toward the gate. She looked no older than twenty-five. One of the soldiers immediately blocked her path.
“Stop. ID,” he said rudely, not even trying to hide his irritation.

“I urgently need to speak with the base command.”
