It began like any other Tuesday — the usual rhythm, the calm of a quiet suburban morning. The children were at school, my wife was busy in the kitchen with her work, and I was half-focused on the news when the doorbell rang. It was our familiar delivery man, Ravi. For nearly two years, he had been bringing us meals — always courteous, always with a smile, the kind of person whose cheerful “Hey boss, how’s it going?” made the day a little brighter before he jogged back to his bike.
