It’s not just one crisis unfolding — it’s several, overlapping, amplifying each other, and hitting communities that were already stretched thin. Earthquakes, crushing floods, suffocating dust, and brewing storms are all converging across the region, and every one of them is making the others worse. It started with an earthquake near Trinidad. Not the kind that levels cities, but strong enough to rattle nerves and remind people how fragile everything already is during an active storm season.
