Del Rio, Texas — March 10, 2025 — A man from Katy, Texas, has been sentenced to 18 months
in federal prison for assaulting, resisting, or interfering with police officers.
The sentence was handed down by a federal court in Del Rio following a conviction for the crime,
which occurred during an encounter with law enforcement officers in the area.
The incident, which took place in 2024, involved the defendant attempting
to obstruct officers during an official law enforcement operation.
The man was charged with one count of assaulting, resisting, or interfering with police officers or employees,
