Our toilet got clogged so badly that we called a plumber.

He didn’t even use a plunger at all, just a simple ingredient we all have at home

. He poured it into the toilet, and it immediately unclogged. He said it’s their professional secret.
Here’s how he did it

Introduction:

A clogged toilet is one of the most frustrating household problems, but fortunately, it’s not always necessary to use a plunger to fix it.

There are several alternative methods you can try using common household items to clear the blockage quickly and efficiently. Whether it’s an overflowing toilet or a stubborn clog that won’t budge, these techniques can help you avoid the hassle of a plunger—and keep things flowing smoothly.

Ingredients:
Hot water (not boiling)
Dish soap (liquid)
Baking soda
Vinegar
A wire hanger or long object (optional)
A bucket
A wet/dry vacuum (optional)
A towel or old rag
Instructions:
1. Hot Water and Dish Soap:

Fill a pot or kettle with hot water, but not boiling, as boiling water could damage the toilet bowl or pipes.

Add a few squirts of dish soap directly into the toilet bowl.

Slowly pour the hot water into the toilet bowl from waist height, which can help break up the clog by adding pressure.

Let the water and soap sit for 10-15 minutes to soften the blockage.

After waiting, flush the toilet. The combination of soap and hot water should help break up the clog, allowing it to flow away.

2. Baking Soda and Vinegar:

Pour about 1 cup of baking soda into the toilet bowl.

Add 2 cups of white vinegar slowly into the bowl. The mixture will fizz and bubble, which can help break down the clog.

Let the solution sit for 20-30 minutes to work its magic.

Afterward, flush the toilet to see if the clog has cleared. The vinegar and baking soda can dissolve grease, soap scum, and small blockages effectively.

3. Wire Hanger or Long Object:
