Today my daughter opened her favorite chocolate ice cream — the one she eats almost every day after school.

Everything seemed normal: the crispy cone, the sweet smell, the soft layer of chocolate on top. But after a few seconds, I heard her say in surprise:

— “Mom, look at this!”

I came closer and saw something strange inside — something dark, like a piece of packaging or caramel. At first, we thought it was just a small defect, then maybe a chunk of chocolate. But my daughter, always curious, decided to gently poke it with her spoon.

Inside the ice cream was a small body with a tail and pincers. It was a scorpion. A real one, though dead. Judging by its size, it was a baby.

We froze. The first thing that came to mind was: how could it have gotten in there? Maybe it happened at the factory, when the ice cream was poured into the cones? Or, even worse, later — frozen inside the sweet mixture?

We felt disgust and fear. My daughter couldn’t even look at the ice cream anymore — her hands were trembling. I immediately took a photo and sent a complaint to the manufacturer.

Now, even the thought of ice cream makes me feel uneasy. Because you never know what might be hiding beneath that perfect layer of chocolate…
