Movie Legend Passes Away in Tragic Car Accident

“Legend” has it that MAD MAX stuntman Grant Page died in a horrific car accident at the age of 85.

When the Australian celebrity crashed into a tree while driving alone, the fire and police departments quickly arrived at the scene.

Despite the quick arrival of the police and an ambulance, the movie star sadly died.

Leroy, his 49-year-old son, described his father as a “legend” and revealed he was producing new films.

“He died in very good spirits and with great commitment,” he told Daily Mail Australia. He was happy.

Not much is known about the crash that happened in New South Wales on Thursday.

The page has starred in several popular action films, including Deathcheaters, Roadgames, The Man from Hong Kong, and Stunt Rock.

His most recent projects were Furiosa, the Mad Max prequel coming out later this year, and Three Thousand Years of Longing.

The stuntman, who made his debut in the 1970s, was praised by friends in the industry.

“My friend Grant Page for fifty-two years and Australia’s first stuntman,” his former manager Brian Trenchard-Smith said yesterday.

I will miss him. He was a wonderful man who lived a completely honest life.

“Age makes us heavy, gravity pulls us down, and death awaits us if we dare too much,” Grant noted. “Not necessarily because he was able to change the rules of physics and probability.

Trenchard-Smith said he had “extraordinary ability” as a stuntman.

“He’s the guy you dodge cars, slide off a burning cliff, jump into the water, and fight a shark.”

In addition, Australian director Jamie Blanks posted on the Internet: “I have just heard the terrible news that my dear friend and legendary Australian stuntman Grant Page has passed away.”

Grant was, in my opinion, one of the most wonderful, gentle, and courageous men I have ever met.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of this Australian legend today. Grant, please rest in peace.”

Australian film critic Dr. Luke Buckmaster described him as “bold, bold, and devilishly cheeky”. His legacy, he added, was “written in tire stripes and burns.”

One of his signature maneuvers was called “Transfer”.

They were driving at high speed along the route when he jumped from one car window to another.

He will be missed by Page’s ex-husbands Ulli and Joy, as well as his four children Leroy, Adrian, 52, Jeremy, 51, and Gulliver, 47.

The departure of Grant Page, an acclaimed stuntman known for his work on “Mad Max” and many other action films, marks a significant loss for the Australian film industry. At the age of 85, Page’s legacy as a bold and innovative artist is firmly etched in the hearts of those who knew him and those who admired his work. His son Leroy’s reflection on his father’s positivity and drive to the end serves as a poignant reminder of Page’s vibrant spirit and dedication to his craft.

Throughout his illustrious career, Page pushed the boundaries of what was possible in stunt work and earned the respect of colleagues and fans alike. His unique maneuvers such as the iconic “Transfer” showcased not only his skill but also his willingness to take risks in pursuit of cinematic perfection. Tributes from industry figures further highlight his influence and the deep sense of loss felt by those who were lucky enough to work with him.

As the community mourns, Page’s influence will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations of stuntmen and filmmakers. His bravery, boldness, and charm will be remembered and ensure that his legacy lives on in films that celebrate his remarkable contribution. The heartfelt memories of friends and family illustrate the deep bonds he formed throughout his life and highlight the personal and professional impact he had on so many. In honoring Grant Page, we recognize not only a legend of the screen but also a remarkable individual whose spirit and talent will be sorely missed.
