A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2023, at
St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Santa Monica to honor his legacy.

has made a significant financial commitment to his ambitious Western project, the Horizon franchise.
Costner mortgaged a 10-acre waterfront property in Santa
Barbara, contributing up to $50 million of the project’s
$100 million budget. Despite the financial risks,
Costner remains passionate about the project, stating,
“I believe in the idea and the story.”
He also emphasized that this would be his final personal investment in a film, saying,
