A Georgia community is in mourning after 15-year-old Aleia Kuhn tragically lost her life in an accident during a youth event at Philippi Baptist Church on June 18, 2025. Just weeks away from her 16th birthday, Aleia’s sudden passing has left her loved ones and community heartbroken.
A Mother’s Grief: “She Was My Backbone and Heart”
Aleia’s mother, Amanda Schroeder-Kuhn, poured out her sorrow in an emotional Facebook post, calling her daughter her “sweetest baby girl” and “forever angel.” She asked for prayers not only for herself and Aleia’s father, Christopher Kuhn, but also for Aleia’s siblings Corben and Colter, as the family faces a pain no parent should ever endure.
“She was too good for this earth but I’m too selfish to not want her back,” Amanda wrote.
“She loved Jesus every day and showed His love to everyone. I just wasn’t ready for Him to take her yet.”
