How One Flight Made Me Rethink My Life

I was flying home when I overheard a woman behind me say,

“I flew to Europe with Phil last weekend.” My heart skipped a beat.

That was my husband’s name. He had just been in Europe last weekend.Then she added,

“He still can’t leave his wife. They just bought a house.” My stomach turned.
