Recently, a Dairy Queen in the charming Wisconsin town of Kewaskum has received a lot of attention online.
The cause?
A large sign announcing the restaurant’s dedication to
“political incorrectness” was conspicuously placed in the front window.
The sign is a colorful celebration of several holiday wishes, including
“Happy Easter,” “Merry Christmas,” and “God Bless America.”
The restaurant is making an attempt to preserve the customs that many people in the neighborhood hold dear.
The sign not only spreads holiday brightness but also shows appreciation for veterans’ service by giving them free sundaes.
The owner, Kevin Scheunemann, clarified that the sign was up almost four years ago in response to a customer’s grievance regarding
Christian music being played within the eatery.
He wished to make it apparent how committed they were to serving God and the nation.
The sign hasn’t caused any major problems since then.
