A person from Connecticut who went to the Cracker Barrel restaurant said they saw what looked like nooses hanging from the roof.
This led to a bad response for the elite. People said bad things about the business because of what the customer said.
Because of this, unhappy customers complained on social media,
which made the company have to say sorry.
A Twitter user named Alfonso Robinson started the anger when he posted pictures of the preparations on the site.
He was worried that the decorations looked like nooses,
which are a traditional sign of lynching and other forms of racial violence.
He said the decorations made him feel bad. Besides that,
he talked about how worried he was about what was going on.
There was a bad mistake, and many people blamed the restaurant.
Robinson’s tweet went viral almost as soon as it was sent.
