CALIFORNIA MAN FACES LIFE IN PRISON FOR STARTING MASSIVE WILDFIRE

Justin Halstenberg of Norco

was found guilty of starting the Line Fire, .

which scorched 44,000 acres

and forced thousands to

flee Southern California in September 2024.

Prosecutors say he made

three arson attempts within an hour,

with the third sparking the devastating blaze.

He was convicted on nine counts,

including aggravated arson

and possession of flammable materials,

and now faces life in prison.
