A week before the wedding, the father-in-law decided to install a camera in his future son-in-law’s car to test him — but when he reviewed the footage, he froze in horror

Later that night, slightly tipsy, the father-in-law leaned toward his wife and whispered:

— You know… I still want to install a camera in our son-in-law’s car. Just to make sure our daughter is really marrying a decent man.

The mother-in-law nearly choked with indignation.

— Are you out of your mind? — she hissed. — We’ve known him for almost two years. He’s a good, intelligent guy. That would be such a dirty thing to do.

— It doesn’t matter, — the father-in-law waved it off. — Better safe than sorry. If everything’s clean, after the wedding we’ll laugh about my paranoia.

Half an hour later, he approached the groom-to-be, pretending he wanted to examine the car’s interior to “get some ideas for his future vehicle.”

He quickly installed a tiny camera between the gaps in the dashboard. It was so small it was almost impossible to detect.

The next day, the father-in-law woke up having completely forgotten his little “spy mission.” He only remembered when his wife walked by and casually said:

— Well? Did you check on the groom? Everything okay?

The father-in-law blinked as if waking up from a daze.

— Right! I totally forgot… Bring the laptop. Let’s take a look.

When they opened the first file, both the father-in-law and the mother-in-law froze. What the groom-to-be did and said… was worse than anything they had suspected. 😢😱 Continued in the first comment 👇👇

The groom left their country house, got into his car, and started the engine. Everything looked normal… until twenty minutes later he didn’t turn toward his home, but toward an old industrial zone the locals avoided.

The car stopped between two abandoned warehouses. A minute later, another car entered the frame. Two men got out — clearly not friends coming for a friendly chat.

They got into the groom’s car. The camera picked up the audio perfectly.

— So? — one of the men sneered. — Did you bring the money?

The groom swallowed nervously:

— Almost… I’ve collected most of it. I’ll cover the rest after the wedding.

— Time? — The man in the back seat leaned forward. — You’ve owed us for eight months.

The groom suddenly raised his voice:

— I told you! After the wedding everything will change. Her parents have a good income, a nice business, a house, a country house. The main thing is to get the wedding done — then the money will come.

He continued, unaware that anyone was listening:

— I asked almost everyone to pitch in for the celebration. It’s going to be a nice sum: from friends, coworkers, parents. And if my parents add something — perfect.

He laughed nervously:

— All the wedding money will go to you.

One of the men grinned:

— And the bride? What will she say when you start gathering money to hand over to us?

The groom snorted:

— She mustn’t know anything. I’ll tell her I spent it all on the restaurant, the music, the photographer. She trusts me — she won’t check.

The recording ended.

A heavy, sticky silence filled the room.

The mother-in-law whispered, trembling:

— He… he wants to marry our daughter for the money? To pay off criminals?

— No, — the father-in-law said quietly. — That’s it. I won’t allow our daughter to marry him.
