The first boy says, “Alligator.” The teacher responds, “Very good, that’s a big word.”

The second boy says, “Predator,” and the teacher agrees, “Well done.”

Then little Johnny pipes up, “Vibrator.” The teacher nearly

falls off her chair and quickly clarifies, “That’s a big word,

but it doesn’t eat anything.” Johnny responds casually,

“My sister has one, and she says it eats batteries like there’s no tomorrow.”

The class erupts in giggles as the teacher tries to steer the lesson back on track,

realizing Johnny’s answer was more about humor than the lesson.
