Mayra Lizbeth Rosales, of Mexican origin, was once regarded as one of the heaviest women in the world. At one point, her weight reached a record-breaking 500 kilograms — half a ton!

According to Mayra herself, it wasn’t a rare disease that led to such an extreme weight, but rather her love for fast food and uncontrolled consumption of it in large quantities.

Amazingly, Mayra was married. Her husband not only didn’t try to stop her on this dangerous path but would actually bring her more food every day, seemingly encouraging her unhealthy habits.

However, one day Mayra experienced a turning point — she realized things couldn’t go on like this.

She decided to make a radical change. She underwent several surgeries: removal of excess fat and skin, as well as a gastric bypass. After that, she lost more than 200 kilograms.

Fast food disappeared from her life forever. And as the weight dropped, Mayra was finally able to engage in physical activity.

Step by step, by changing her lifestyle and pushing through difficulties, she reached a weight of 92 kilograms. Simply incredible, considering she once weighed five times that!

She has since divorced her husband, but they managed to remain on friendly terms. Today, Mayra is a radiant, confident, beautiful, and — most importantly — healthy woman.

And what’s even more remarkable is that even at her heaviest, her internal organs and body systems continued functioning, despite the extreme strain.
