My neighbors painted my house while I was abroad, and when I came back, I decided to take revenge on them

My new neighbors hated the yellow color of my house. They constantly tried to persuade me to repaint it, but I refused because I really liked the color.

One day, I had to go on a business trip for two weeks, and when I came back, I saw that my neighbors had painted my house gray.

I was furious and decided to teach the rude neighbors a lesson. After that, they were afraid to go outside for a long time. Here’s what I did

👇👇 When Viktoria returned after two weeks on her business trip, she felt her heart tighten with premonition.

She turned onto her driveway — where her sunny yellow house should have been.

But the house… was gone. Or rather, it was still there, but now it was a different color — gray….CONTINUE READING IN BELOW

Viktoria froze.

“They did it. They really DID it.”

The neighbors, the young, self-satisfied beige aesthetes, who had been irritated by the yellow house since the day they moved in.

The house, painted by Viktoria’s late husband, who called it “our little sun.” And now they had extinguished that light.

She walked down the street and knocked on the neighbors’ door. No one answered. Naturally.

But then Mr. Thompson appeared — an old neighbor and an unwitting witness to the crime. He showed photos — of the painters painting Viktoria’s house.

“They had a permit,” he said apologetically. “They showed it to the police. They claimed you ordered the painting…”

The documents were in the name of the Davises. Paid in cash.

But Viktoria was not the kind of woman to be easily defeated. Especially when it came to the house that reminded her of a loved one.

She went straight to the painting company’s office. The manager stammered when he realized they had been duped.

“They said it was their house… they even showed pictures…”

“And you didn’t check? Didn’t bother to look at the property documents? Ask the neighbors?! You destroyed my house — and for what?”

Viktoria could have stopped there. But no. Instead of taking revenge through the courts, she chose a sophisticated, creative, and… public retaliation.

The next day, the whole neighborhood woke up to noise — and bright, blinding color. She had hired the best graffiti artists in the city.

After three days, her house was shining again — not just bright yellow, but with painted sun rays, gigantic sunflowers, and quotes about joy and freedom. On the roof was the inscription:

“Light defeats dullness. With love, V.”

The media picked up the story. Local newspapers, blogs, even talk shows. Everyone wanted to know: who were these neighbors who tried to “destroy the sun”?

And Mr. and Mrs. Davis? They were now hiding behind closed blinds, becoming the subject of ridicule and quiet condemnation.
