Lucas was enjoying a peaceful afternoon at the community club when his phone rang. It was his wife, Mia, sounding cheerful. She explained she was at the mall and had found a lovely coat she instantly adored. It wasn’t cheap, but she asked if she could buy it, hoping he would understand her excitement.
