I bought bread at the store, cut it open, and found something strange inside, green-yellow in color: I was horrified when I realized what it actually was

At the store, I bought ordinary bread, as I had done many times before. The store is familiar, and the products have always been fresh, so there was no doubt about their quality. 🤔

At home, I cut the bread to put it on the table. However, inside I noticed something strange 😨. At first, I thought it might be mold or a defect in the dough. But the color was unusual — green-yellow — and the material felt soft and didn’t resemble bread at all 🫣.

I was horrified when I realized what it actually was. Luckily, I noticed in time, and we didn’t eat it. I’m sharing this in the first comment, so be careful 👇👇

Today, ordinary bread was purchased at the store. The store is reliable, purchases are made there regularly, and until now, there have never been questions about product quality or expiration dates.

The bread came in standard packaging with a current production date.

At home, the bread was cut to prepare it for dinner. During the cutting, a foreign object was discovered inside.

Upon closer inspection, it became clear that the bread contained a sponge, typically used at home for washing dishes. In shape and size, the object matched a common kitchen sponge, but without the plastic abrasive surface.

How the sponge ended up inside the bread is unknown. It can be assumed that this was due to negligence by production staff or an accidental defect in the manufacturing process.

It is also possible that the sponge could contain traces of cleaning agents or other substances, which poses a potential health risk.

The bread was not consumed. Information about the manufacturer and place of purchase has been recorded.

Currently, it is being considered to file a complaint with the supplier and manufacturer, as well as to notify regulatory authorities.

If necessary, legal action may be initiated, as such an incident could threaten the health of other buyers, especially children.
