Dads Share the Raw..

One time, while we were flying, my daughter leaned over to me and whispered,

“Dad, I think I just got my period.”

I quickly handed her the emergency

pad I always keep in my bag, and she rushed to the restroom.

A few minutes later, the flight attendant came by and said,

“Sir, your daughter asked if you have a real pad. She said ,

you gave her a liner.”

was completely embarrassed and turned bright red —

I didn’t even know there was a difference between the two!

Thankfully,

a kind woman sitting nearby overheard and offered her own pad.

When my daughter came back, she thanked both of us and said,

“Next time, bring both.”

I’ve never forgotten that moment,

and now I always make sure

to carry both a pad and a liner in my bag.

It’s funny how these little moments can teach you so much.
