When baby Tessa was born in Ireland, she captured the hearts of many.
Tessa was born without a nose, a rare and challenging condition that immediately drew attention.
During her mother’s pregnancy, doctors identified the anomaly and suggested terminating the pregnancy,
but Tessa’s parents, steadfast in their love and belief in her potential, chose to proceed.
They held onto the hope that she could lead a fulfilling life, despite the challenges ahead.
Now, at four years old, Tessa has undergone numerous surgeries to help her live as normal a life as possible.
While these procedures have given her opportunities
for a better quality of life, they haven’t come without their struggles.
In addition to being born without a nose,
Tessa also faces hearing loss and, following a recent surgery, blindness in one of her eyes.
Despite these hardships, she remains a joyful and optimistic child.
Tessa loves her life, surrounded by a family that showers her with unwavering love and support.
Her mother remains hopeful, believing that with time,
advancements in medicine will continue to improve Tessa’s quality of life.
Tessa, we wish you all the happiness and strength the world has to offer.
You are an inspiration to everyone who meets you.
