Tammy Slaton, known from “1000-Lb. Sisters,” has showcased a significant transformation,
losing 440 pounds and displaying her new figure in a dark blue swimsuit
alongside her friend, psychic medium Haley Michelle,
Tammy has faced lifelong struggles with her weight, but recent achievements have brought her newfound freedom and mobility.
“Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen.
I don’t even sleep with it at night anymore,” Tammy shared, highlighting her improved quality of life.
Despite the positive support, some reactions were negative, with comments ranging from unsettling to creepy.
However, Tammy remains focused on her health, evidenced by her significant weight loss after undergoing bariatric surgery in July 2022,
bringing her weight down from 725 to 285 pounds.

“By putting our stories out there, we’re helping others see they can lose weight too.
They’re not alone,” she expressed, emphasizing the impact of her public visibility and ongoing efforts.
