The tragic death of 14-year-old Knox MacEwen during a 5K race at Everglades

A student at Western High School in Davie,

MacEwen was actively involved in Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) activities.

His passing was announced by Western High Principal Jimmy Arrojo

, who offered heartfelt condolences to MacEwen’s family, friends, teachers, and classmates.
